What is ShrotaHub?

Shrota Hub is a dedicated platform for discovering and listening to radio stations from across Nepal.

There are stations playing music, delivering news, hosting conversations, connecting local communities, and giving different regions of Nepal their own voice.

But discovering these stations and listening to them online hasn't always been simple.

Some stations are easy to find. Others are scattered across different websites, apps, and social media platforms. Finding information about stations or listening to the ones you love can often require searching in different places.

We wanted to make that easier.

That's why we created Shrota Hub.

Our Story

There was a time when radio was one of the main ways we experienced news, music, entertainment, and the world around us.

Today, we have more ways to access all of it than ever before. News is on our phones. Music is available instantly. Entertainment is everywhere.

And yet, radio is still a part of our lives.

Some of us listen to it every day. Some of us keep it playing in the background while we work, travel, or go about our day. And for some, radio carries a sense of nostalgia—a familiar voice, a favorite program, or a connection to memories of old times.

While the way we experience media has changed, there is still something special about radio.

We wanted to make that experience better.

We wanted it to be easier to find the stations you love, explore the ones you haven't discovered yet, and enjoy Nepali radio without unnecessary difficulty.

What started as a simple idea—"What if there was one place dedicated to Nepali radio listeners, where people could discover, explore, and listen to Nepali radio stations?"—became Shrota Hub.
